Meet Amy
Amy Graham | Hidden River Ayurveda
Hi, I’m Amy, the face behind Hidden River Ayurveda.
Looking back, I think I was always headed here. My childhood was spent making 'potions' out of garden herbs & offering intuitive tarot readings to anyone in my family who would listen. Even then, I felt a pull toward the subtle magic of the natural world.
My professional path really began in a local health food shop during high school. I was lucky enough to have an incredible mentor who showed me that health isn't just about labels & synthetic supplements. It's about the profound connection between people, herbs, nutrition, the seasons, traditions & our own inner rhythm. Today, my work is fuelled by that same fascination: the beautiful, intricate dance between the science of the body and the magic of nature.
This same passion flows into my kitchen; I am a firm believer in food as medicine and nothing brings me more joy than the ritual of cooking nourishing meals for others.
Thank you so much for being here, and I hope to work with you one day soon, Amy x
My Core Philosophy
A Belief in Inner Wisdom
I fundamentally believe that each individual carries immense internal healing potential. Our bodies hold a wisdom that often reaches far beyond our conscious understanding; therefore, I view healing as a collaborative, intuitive journey rather than a one-size-fits-all checklist.
My Journey
The Weaving of Science, Soul & Service
My path of learning has been beautifully non-linear, blending clinical training with intuitive arts and a deep love for the kitchen.
Ayurvedic Roots: Advanced Diploma in Ayurvedic Medicine with over 14 years of professional clinical practice.
Bodywork & Anatomy: Training in Remedial Massage and Craniosacral Therapy, 4 years of Ayurvedic Abhyanga training & bodywork in both Australia & Sri Lanka, alongside partial Naturopathic studies.
The Healing Arts: Continued education in Reiki, Counselling, Visionary Cranio and Energetic Healing.
The Kitchen & Hospitality: Years spent cooking in diverse kitchens, learning from some incredible chefs and passionate cooks - following my thread of understanding & sharing the art of "food as medicine."
The Subtle Magic: Deep exploration into Tarot, Astrology, and Numerology with some inspiring teachers.
